Aug 31st

Hallo Liebe Familie und Freunde!!

Thanks for the prayers this last week, we have seen little miracles
here in Kiel! One being that I wasn't almost kissed, so that's a
success. We found 2 new investigators though and are STOKED out of our
minds about them!

One of these investigators we found through our English class! One of
our previous investigators, Lyda, brought her good friend Lamia, from
Iran, to learn English. During the class, I asked about her beliefs
and she said she was Muslim but isn't anymore and is still a very
faithful, believing person. She loves what we do as missionaries, and
is super open to it. She's committed to come every week to English,
and has now even invited us to go to her home!! Miracles! I think
she's got lots of potential.

On Wednesday we had the opportunity to do service out near Rendsburg (
about an hour away from Kiel) for a member with cancer. We had our
district meeting in her 150 yr. old German cottage, and then spruced
up her entire yard after! There were 12 missionaries there, and it was
a blast! It was so awesome to be able to do that for this member!

Thursday we had interviews with Präsident in Hamburg and it went
great, it's fun to actually get to know him, other than just letters.

Friday we met with the Ukaj family, and it was awesome! Alma, the
mother, read in Mosiah 18 and explained to us the whole story of
Abinadi and Alma and his people- all in her broken English. We were
grinning ear to ear!! She held up the BOM at the end of the lesson and
said, "I have need. I need." YES. It is so exhilarating to see her and
her husband love and discover the gospel through the Book of Mormon.
And so quickly too, all led by the spirit.

Other than that, we're looking forward to a crazy busy week, which is
what we love!! Here's a great quote I found in my studies this
morning:
"The gospel of Jesus Christ is a plan that shows us how to become what
our Heavenly Father desires us to become." -Dallin H. Oaks

Love you all!! Thanks for all your prayers and support! Also, don't
forget, the General Conference count down begins!!

Liebe Immer,
Sister Titensor
